It’s Just Rain
It’s Just Rain was purchased on March 30th 2008 and is my 5th personal domain. IJR is hosted with Holdfire. I’m on the basic-plan, which means I have 4GB diskspace and 125GB bandwidth.
I decided to get a new domain after being absent from the net for about a year because I missed blogging. For the first time I also feel like I actually have something to blog about, moving soon, starting school again for the first time in 7 years.
The name, It’s Just Rain, is part of a line from one of my favourite Cure songs: From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea. A guy in the HIM chatroom brought it to my attention about 11 years ago and it never quite left my head.

Layout
This is the first layout with Wordpress that I actually coded and designed myself. I know it’s not state-of-the-art or as visually stunning as some of the other personal blogs on the web. But it’s mine, I did it and I’m very proud of myself.
The girl up there in the pictures? That would be me. The photos are not very recent but I’m still recognizable. The title is phonetically written, it really just says it’s just rain. I was taught phonetics in school this year and I just really like the symbols.
